Kirsty and Rhys tied the knot at the beautiful Mt Duneed Estate  and what a celebration it was! Family and friends travelled from all over Australia and Ireland to be there which says everything about how loved these two are.

12 months prior to their beautiful wedding, I helped Naomi and Lee honour their little boy Jack, who died when he was 3 weeks old. Together, we created a memorial service known as “Jack’s picnic’.

One of the highlights of my celebrant career is when Jack’s mum and dad invited me to be the celebrant for their wedding.

Naomi and Lee could have quite easily associated me with deep sadness and pain but instead, they only seen trust and connection.

It was a true privilege to stand beside them on one of the happiest days of their lives.

Being a celebrant is more popular now -  when I began, there weren’t many people my age in this role.
Wedding trends have come and gone, and social media has transformed the way we share these moments. But for me, this work has never been about trends or perfectly curated posts—it’s about people, connection, and the joy of celebrating love in all its forms. 

The stillness of the early morning hours is a welcome change from the busyness of the day. The world appears to stop as the first rays of dawn break the horizon, providing a peaceful moment for your vows.
