  • What should I do to get my ceremony in Melbourne started?

    We can then organise a no obligation chat to discuss my services and your ideas. It is advisable if you decide to go ahead with me after having a chat, to book in as soon as possible to secure the date

  • What’s involved in the ceremony process?

    The process for arranging your Ceremony with me is basically:

    An initial chat to establish your requirements, time-frame and availability and to assess whether I am the celebrant for you

    Organising legal documents (if applicable), for lodgement and processing

    Ceremony design – the ceremony options, details and logistics

    Design meetings and a rehearsal (if desired).

    I will arrive 30 mins prior to conducting your ceremony on the day and can liaise with other onsite professionals, e.g. your venue Manager, photographer, videographer or audio engineer to ensure a smooth running of events, allowing you to relax and enjoy your special day.

  • What does the wedding ceremony service fee include?

    Travel within 50km radius of Melbourne

    Preparation and lodgement of legal paperwork regarding your wedding

    Ceremony guide booklet to help you work out the ceremony that is most suitable to you. This includes sample vows, pledges, readings and ceremony ideas

    Design and performance of your personalised ceremony

    Use of Professional PA System – supports USB and CD’s

    A Wedding rehearsal if you wish at a mutually convenient time

    Presentation of your special Wedding Ceremony Certificate at the ceremony. This is not the same as your official Marriage Certificate. Your Marriage Certificate will be processed and issued to you by Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria after you are married.

  • What are the legal requirements for a wedding ceremony in Melbourne?

    Certain legal documents are required in Australia for wedding ceremonies as weddings are legally binding. Documents required include:

    A Notice of Intention to Marry (NOIM) must be lodged with me at least one month before the wedding ceremony

    Original Birth Certificates or Passport

    Where applicable, a previous spouses Death Certificate or Decree Absolute may be required

    Prior to the wedding a signed Declaration of Marriage to confirm that you are legally free to Marry and there is no reason why the wedding can’t go ahead.

    2 witnesses over the age of 18 years on the day at your marriage ceremony
